Women can accelerate the processes of reconciliation, they can and must reduce the vulnerabilities and risks to which they are subject, create space for dialogue and knowledge exchange, train and empower other women, contribute to the empowerment of others to support the process of reintegration, economic cohesion and social and recovery.
The webinar explains why sustainable peace involves everyone contributing where we are the best. Women affected by conflict and crisis and the harsh consequences need prompt and appropriate intervention. During this session, Olesea Cotoman, co-founder of the AO I4DD, Olesea Netedă, Calfa City Hall, Anenii Noi, Security Zone and Tatiana Mivsliciuc,women refugee, discussed the access to the services that beneficiaries of humanitarian protection benefit from, the resilience of communities from the Security Zone, as well as the experience of displaced people to integrate into the community in the Republic of Moldova.
The Republic of Moldova has lessons and experiences that it can share both at the local and central level, as well as non-governmental organizations, volunteers. Increasing the social cohesion of women in the Security Zone and integrating the gender dimension in peace and humanitarian response processes is an integral part of the localization of the Women, Peace and Security Agenda.
