About I4DD
The Public Association "Institute for Democracy and Development" (AO I4DD) bases its principles on the promotion of gender equality and fair opportunities for all citizens.
Through its projects, AO I4DD aims to encourage active civic participation, support democratic reforms and promote inclusive policies that reflect the country's social and cultural diversity.
Mandate and Mission
I4DD aims to respect and promote fundamental human rights and freedoms
based on gender balance and gender equality, in a democratic society and founded on the values of the rule of law, in the spirit of the values of national and international legislation, legality and prosperity.

Chișinău, 5 iunie 2026 — Peste 25 de conducători ai Serviciului Vamal, femei și bărbați în poziții de conducere, au participat astăzi la o sesiune de instruire dedicată transformării instituționale prin prisma leadershipului modern și a principiilor Agendei Femeile, Pacea și Securitatea (FPS).

Peer Learning with Students from the “Ștefan cel Mare” Academy (Second Edition)
On 13 May 2026, a group of 17 second‑year students (10 boys and 7 girls) from the “Ștefan cel Mare” Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs carried out their second “Peer Learning” visit to the headquarters of the Institute for Democracy and Development (I4DD). During the visit, the students had the opportunity to engage in an exchange of experience with civil society, I4DD’s partners (DCAF), and donors (SIDA, the Embassy of Sweden in the Republic of Moldova).
