The Public Association "Institute for Democracy and Development" (AO I4DD) bases its principles on the promotion of gender equality and fair opportunities for all citizens.
Through its projects, AO I4DD aims to encourage active civic participation, support democratic reforms and promote inclusive policies that reflect the country's social and cultural diversity.
Mandate and Mission
I4DD aims to respect and promote fundamental human rights and freedoms
based on gender balance and gender equality, in a democratic society and founded on the values of the rule of law, in the spirit of the values of national and international legislation, legality and prosperity.

13 May 2026Peer Learning with Students from the “Ștefan cel Mare” Academy (Second Edition)
On 13 May 2026, a group of 17 second‑year students (10 boys and 7 girls) from the “Ștefan cel Mare” Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs carried out their second “Peer Learning” visit to the headquarters of the Institute for Democracy and Development (I4DD). During the visit, the students had the opportunity to engage in an exchange of experience with civil society, I4DD’s partners (DCAF), and donors (SIDA, the Embassy of Sweden in the Republic of Moldova).

30 April 2026Students of the “Ștefan cel Mare” Academy of the Ministry of Internal Affairs Participated in a Peer Learning Guided Visit at the Institute for Democracy and Development (I4DD)
La 30 aprilie 2026, primul grup de 17 studenți ai anului II de la Academia „Ștefan cel Mare” a Ministerului Afacerilor Interne – 10 fete și 7 băieți, însoțiți de un cadru didactic – au participat la o vizită ghidată de tip „Peer Learning” (Învățare între egali) organizată la sediul AO Institute for Democracy and Development (I4DD) în domeniul consolidării democrației, securității și păcii.
