Parntership Agreement signed between CSO "Institute for Democracy and Development and Customs Service

On July 24, 2024, CSO The "Institute for Democracy and Development" signed a Cooperation Agreement with the Customs Service.

The bilateral agreement establishes a partnership of cooperation between the Parties, in order to improve the legal and institutional framework by providing external expertise, developing joint initiatives by accessing and implementing projects of assistance in the fields of competence.

The objectives of the Agreement establish the organization of seminars, training courses and other events, aimed at increasing the professional skills of customs officials and promoting good practices in customs administration. Through joint activities, the Parties will focus on the initiation and implementation of national and international projects that respond to current needs, according to strategic objectives.

One of the objectives of the Partnership Agreement between AO I4DD and the Customs Service aims to promote the Women, Peace and Security Agenda.

The Institute for Democracy and Development welcomes the opening of the customs authority for the establishment and development of inter-institutional cooperation, by capitalizing on common potential and developing initiatives in priority areas of activity with the associative environment.
