I4DD Consolidates Its Strategic Directions for the Next Five Years

The Institute for Democracy and Development (I4DD) announces the organization, on January 23, 2026, of a training workshop dedicated to strengthening the capacities of members of the General Assembly, the Board of Directors, and the project team, in the context of developing the Development Strategy for the period 2026–2030. This activity was carried out within the project “Voices of Leadership: Women Shaping Impact”, implemented with the support of UN Women in the Republic of Moldova and through the WPHF Fund.

This activity is intended to strengthen the organization’s capacity and ensure active involvement in the process of elaborating the Development Strategy for the next five years. The activity was supported by national and international expert Gheorghe Caraseni.

The workshop’s main objective was the direct involvement of the organization’s members in the process of developing the Development Strategy for 2026–2030. Discussions focused on: expanding and detailing the concept note as the foundation of the strategy, mapping relevant stakeholders and establishing strategic partnerships, analyzing the organizational structure for greater efficiency, identifying fundraising solutions and resource mobilization approaches.

Through this workshop, I4DD consolidated collective involvement and created a participatory framework for defining future strategic directions.

The event marks an important step in the process of institutional transformation and the promotion of democratic development, through which I4DD outlines its vision for the next five years, 2026–2030. Thus, the organization sets its strategic priorities in several key areas:

Priority 1: Governance and European Integration

Priority 2: Peacebuilding, conflict resolution, and reintegration

Priority 3: Human Rights and Gender Equality

 Priority 4: Organizational Development of I4DD
