Dialogue between the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) Initiative Group and the Community of Donors and Development Partners

I4DD holds the Presidency of the Initiative Group for the implementation of the Women, Peace and Security Agenda in 2026. The Initiative Group represents a community of nine civil society organizations, including I4DD, PISA, IVC, I4P, CPD, Pro Marshall, CDF, Făclia and ADDI.

Today, 23 March 2026, the second meeting of the Dialogue between the Initiative Group on the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) Agenda, the Donor and Development Partners Community, and the 1325 NAP Secretariat took place.

The event was held with the participation of H.E. Ms. Petra Larke, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Sweden, as well as representatives of the DCAF Office in the Republic of Moldova and UN Women.

Representatives of OSCE, UNDP, EUPM, the Embassies of Denmark and Sweden, including FBA and the Swedish Police, also took part in the event.

This meeting provided an opportunity for dialogue on aligning expectations and priorities regarding the implementation of the WPS Agenda, achievements and lessons learned in the implementation of the 1325 National Action Plan by non-governmental organizations, as well as interactive discussions.

Participants shared insights on emerging trends, including developments in cybersecurity, environment, artificial intelligence, the Nexus approach, and crisis management.

They also explored new pathways for advancing the Agenda, with an emphasis on meaningful transformation, localization, and synergy.
