„RIDICÂND O MOLDOVĂ MAI SIGURĂ” (GROWING A SAFER MOLDOVA)

On 1 August 2026, I4DD launches a new project, “Growing a Safer Moldova”, implemented under the BREN II Program with the support of IWPR and the UK Government. The initiative contributes to three thematic priorities: (1) Women, Peace and Security (WPS), (2) Public Trust, Inclusive Engagement and Peacebuilding, (3) Civil Society and Partnerships. The project will be implemented during the period 1 August 2026 – 30 April 2027.

The project includes several key activities, such as:

  • Development of an Assessment of the needs, perceptions, and solutions of law enforcement and judicial sector actors from a security perspective, addressing security challenges related to the Transnistrian conflict, with a focus on strengthening trust in security institutions and professional actors and ensuring inclusive engagement.
  • Presentation the Assessment of the needs, perceptions, and solutions of law enforcement and judicial sector actors from a security perspective, addressing security challenges related to the Transnistrian conflict, with a focus on strengthening trust in security institutions and professional actors and ensuring inclusive engagement.
  • Conduct a Workshop on the Women, Peace and Security (WPS) Agenda, the Triple Nexus, and the Use of AI for Local Leaders from the Security Zone and Law Enforcement Agencies Implementing the NAP WPS 2023–2027 (40 participants)
  • Facilitating Peer Learning Mentorship sessions in Pair (at least 20 mentorships sessions)
  • Facilitation a Meeting with the WPS Initiative Group (created from civil society organizations) led by I4DD in 2026
  • Final event of the project

Through these activities, the project promotes a modern, inclusive, and solution oriented approach designed to strengthen stability, resilience, and connectivity at the national level, from the perspective of human security and national security.
