About I4DD
Public Association,,Institute for Democracy and Development” (AO I4DD) was founded on May 13, 2022 by four founders, respecting gender equality and opportunities, registered by the Public Services Agency in accordance with the legislation of the Republic of Moldova.
The purpose of the Association:
AO I4DD is dedicated to enabling communities and people (citizens) to live in prosperity and peace in a society based on democratic governance, the rule of law and human rights.
From Advocacy to Action: I4DD is the Engine of Change for Gender Equality and Human Rights, building a solid foundation for generations to come!
Mandate and Mission
The mission of the association I4DD pursues the respect and promotion of human rights and fundamental freedoms, based on gender balance and gender equality, in a democratic society and based on the values of the rule of law, in the spirit of the values of national and international legislation, unanimously accepted, which ensure well-being, legality and prosperity.
AO I4DD access funds and projects, establish and develop cooperation partnerships, formulate positions and points of view, participate in improving the legal and institutional framework, implement projects, develop studies, research and offer thematic training, prevention campaigns, but not limited to these .
Our values
AO I4DD has a code of ethics and conduct that governs its behavior within the organization as well as outside it. It does not accept or tolerate illegal interference on the mission of the association and on its members in the context of the fulfillment of its commitments.
AO I4DD condemns any acts of corruption, abuse or discrimination, harassment or inequality and/or unfairness.
AO I4DD is open for strategic and operational collaborations and partnerships with all national authorities and institutions, development partners and donors, population, or other associations and experts from the academic, scientific and non-governmental environment.
The management team of the Association
The management team of AO I4DD consists of women and men, with balanced decision-making power and decision-making roles. The team members are people with more than 15 years of professional experience in the public and non-governmental sector, related to the implementation of international projects. The members of AO I4DD are dedicated people and have studies in various fields, who possess and use foreign languages professionally: English, Russian, French, etc.
